【摘要】:Thisfield-testmethodprovideschlorideandfluorideconcentrationresultsonadrybasis.Concentrationdataforgaseouschloridesandfluoridesareassumedtobehydrochloricacidgas,andhydrofluoricacidgaswhencalculatingmassemissionrates.MassemissionratesofHClandHFcanbecalculatediftheeffluentvolumetricflowrateisknown.VolumetricflowratescanbecalculatedbyconductingEPAMethods1x2013;4ortheirequivalents.ThisfieldtestmethodprovidesdatahavingbiasandprecisionforHClconsistentwiththevaluesinSection14.Inaddition,thetest-specificbiascanbeassessedforeachtestbyconductingthepost-testqualityassurancecheck.Theprocedureisidentifiedasoptional,andtheperformanceofthisproceduredependsonthetestspecificdataqualityobjectives,andenduseofthedata.Thetest-specificprecisionmaybedeterminedbyconductingpaired-runs.Pairedrunsaidinidentifyingpossiblesuspectdataandprovidebackupintheeventonetrainisinvalidated.Performingpairedrunsdependsonthetest-specificdataqualityobjectives.ThereactionofgaseousHClwithammonia(NH3)toformsolidammoniumchloride(NH4Cl)iswellknown.AtstacktemperaturescommontotheexitsofbaghousesandESPsatmineralcalciningfacilities(thatis,250to450x00B0;For121to232x00B0;C),anequilibrationbetweenthegaseousHCl/NH3,thecondensedNH4Cl(s),andtheeffluentparticulatemattercanexist.Itisimpossibletoknowtheexactpartitionratiobetweenthegasandparticulatephasesofthesecompoundsinthesamplingsystem.Furthermore,itisverydifficulttocontroltheeffectsofthesepartitioningreactionswithinthevarioussamplingsystemcomponents.Note48212;UseofthismethodiscautionedwhentryingtoquantifyHCl(g)inthepresenceofammoniumchlorideandammonia.1.1Thismethodwillmeasuretheconcentrationofgaseoushydrochloricandhydrofluoricacids,andothergaseouschloridesandfluoridesthatpassthroughaparticulatematterfiltermaintainedat177176;C(350176;F).Thismethodisspecificforsamplingcombustioneffluentfrommineralcalciningindustriesandotherstationarysourceswherethereactive/adsorptivenatureoftheparticulatemattermayaffectmeasurements.1.2Thismethodutilizesionchromatographytoquantifytheaqueoussamples,andthusmeasuresonlytheC1-andF-ions.1.3Basedonaone-hoursamplingrun,themethodwillprovideresultsofknownaccuracyandprecisionforchlorideandfluoridein-stackconcentrationsof0.5ppm(v)dryorgreater.Extendingtherundurationandsamplingagreatervolumeofeffluentwillextendtherangetolowerconcentrations.1.4Thismethodincludesoptionalpost-testqualityassuranceprocedurestoassessthebiasofthetestresults,andoptionalpairedsampletrainrunstoassesstheprecisionoftestresults.
