【摘要】:Thistestmethodhasbeenfoundusefulforthedeterminationofthespecificsurfaceareaofcatalystsandcatalystcarriersintherangefrom0.05to10m2/gformaterialsspecification,manufacturingcontrol,andresearchanddevelopmentintheevaluationofcatalysts.Thedeterminationofsurfaceareaofcatalystsandcatalystcarriersabove10m2/gisaddressedinTestMethodD3663.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthespecificsurfaceareaofcatalystsandcatalystcarriersintherangefrom0.05to10m2/g.AvolumetricmeasuringsystemisusedtoobtainatleastthreedatapointswhichfallwithinthelinearBETregion.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
