【摘要】:ProcedureAmeasurestheabilityofapressure-sensitivetapetoadheretoastandardsteelpanelunderconstantstress.Thismayormaynotrelatetotheabilityofthetapetoadheretoothersurfaces.ProceduresB,C,andDmaybeusedtodeterminetheshearadhesionofthetapesgenerallyusedtoclosefiberboardboxesinpackagingapplications.ProcedureDmeasurestheshearadhesionofapressure-sensitivetapetoanonstandardfiberboard,linerboard,corrugatedboard,orothersurfaceswhichisagreeduponfortesting.Thismaybeusedtocomparetheshearadhesionofatapetoaparticularfiberboardsurfaceortocomparetheshearadhesionofatapetoavarietyoffiberboardsurfaces.4.3.1Thesurfacesofsimilarfiberboardsmayexhibitconsiderablevariationbetweenmills,betweenbatchesfromonemill,andwithinbatches.Takecareinthechoiceofsamplesandwhencomparingresultsbetweenfiberboardsurfaceswhichmaynotbeexactlythesame.4.3.2TheprecisionoftestsconductedonnonstandardsurfacesmaybedifferentthanthatdescribedinSection13.ProceduresE,F,andGmaybeusedtodeterminetheabilityofafilamentreinforcedtapetoholdwhenplacedunderconstantstress.ProcedureHmaybeusedtocomparetheshearadhesionoftapeappliedtoastandardsteelsurfaceandtestedatanelevatedtemperature.Theuseofanelevatedtemperatureduringtesttendstoreducethedurationofthetest.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresfordeterminingtheabilityofpressure-sensitivetapesandlabelstoremainadheredunderconstantloadappliedparalleltothesurfaceofthetapeandsubstrate.1.1.1ProcedureAmeasurestheshearadhesionwhenappliedtoaverticalstandardsteelpanel.1.1.2ProcedureBmeasurestheshearadhesionwhenappliedtoverticalpanelcoveredwithNISTSRM1810Astandardfiberboard.1.1.3ProcedureCmeasurestheshearadhesionwhenappliedtoaverticalpanelcoveredwithafiberboardasdefinedbyComiteEuropeendeNormalisation(CEN).1.1.4ProcedureDmeasuresshearadhesionwhenappliedtoaverticalpanelcoveredwithafiberboardagreeduponbythebuyerandseller.1.1.5ProcedureEmeasuresshearadhesionoffilamentreinforcedtapewhenappliedtoahorizontalstandardsteelpanel.1.1.6ProcedureFmeasuresshearadhesionofafilamentreinforcedtapewhenappliedtoahorizontalpanelcoveredwithNISTSRM1810Astandardfiberboard.1.1.7ProcedureGmeasurestheshearadhesionofafilamentreinforcedtapewhenappliedtoahorizontalpanelcoveredwithastandardfiberboarddefinedbyCEN.1.1.8ProcedureHmeasurestheshearadhesionthesameasProcedureAexceptthetestisconductedatanelevatedtemperatureandaftera10-mindwelltimeattheelevatedtemperature.1.2Theseproceduresprovideameansofassessingtheuniformityoftheadhesiveofagiventypeofpressure-sensitivetape,usuallytapesusedforpackagingapplications.Theassessmentmaybewithinarolloftape,betweenrollsorproductionlots.1.2.1Variationsinthetapebackingandadhesiveaffecttheresponse;therefore,theseprocedurescannotbeusedtopinpointthespecificcause(s)ofnonuniformity.1.2.2ThistestmethodisintendedtoreplaceAFERA4012,CEN1943,andPSTC(see).1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemswillresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserof......
